Who's Gonna Be O'Brien?
Jerry and George once wondered who would be O'Brien, now the Magpies have to figure out who will take Harry O'Brien's place in the team for the next month. First-year players Stanley, Goldsack and Toovey auditioned for the role last week.

O'Brien is on a few fantasy teams and it might be a good idea to trade him. In some fantasy leagues, players at a similar price to O'Brien are Matthew Egan, Darren Glass, Henry Slattery and S O'hAilpin. Shane Wakelin is going to have a much bigger workload now, he is also at a similar price to O'Brien. Toovey is an option for fantasy teams but if Stanley keeps his spot he will be a better choice, due to his low fantasy price. The Magpies could also introduce another player for their first game. Nathan Brown, yes there is another one, might have been the ideal player to go against Robertson due to his size and pace. First round picks Brown and Ben Reid are fantasy forwards, while Martin Clarke is a fantasy centre and another option for Coach Malthouse to consider to replace O'Brien.
