Who Won The AFL Draft?

The results are in and now people can pick who won the draft. There are a lot of contenders as many teams grabbed more than one star player.

The AFL Draft Grades will be posted soon, but you can leave a comment to say who you think had the most success in the 2006 AFL National Draft.

In a few years Reid might be a unique player with ruckman height but also the speed and skills of a much smaller player, and Dawes could also be a very good player, but that isn't guaranteed.

Brown will help next season and he should become an important key defender for the Magpies.

If Collingwood had added a young ruckman and maybe another midfielder they might have been graded higher, but check out the draft grades post to see where Collingwood were rated. They had a good draft but not the best.

Thank you for your comment, and if Reid does acheive his potential then Collingwood may have had the best draft in 2006. But Magpies fans will have to wait a couple of years for him.
