Tiger’s Last Gasp, Darren Retires
A big shock, Darren Gaspar has announced his immediate retirement from AFL. He was named in the Richmond side to play the Cats but is not expected to play.
Gaspar, a former number 1 overall draft pick, spent his AFL career with Sydney and Richmond. One of the best defenders in the AFL, he will not only be remembered for battling many star forwards but also for his awkward kicking and big hair.

AFL Fantasy Impact:
Gaspar was a solid fantasy player, and was getting a lot more of the ball than expected. Those who have him in their teams will want to move him out right now. If they want another Tiger, then Polak has been a very good fantasy player this season and McGuane is someone who will have a bigger role with Gaspar gone.
