The AFL Insider SuperCoach Round 21 Team
August 24th 2007 07:41
The fantasy team had a week off from it's league last week, and so did some of the players. Fletcher was named captain and he played a few minutes before going to the bench with an injury. Injuries have hit the team again, which will make things interesting for a lot of fantasy leagues.

McPhee looked like Riewoldt last week, covering a lot of ground around half forward and getting plenty of marks. Although in some ways he looks like Riewoldt every week. According to the footage on the news, McPhee might not go as well this week as a young footballer, maybe 13 years old, was constantly outmarking him.
Dal Santo comes into the team. Mitchell gets the captaincy for this round. Hopefully he doesn't get injured and the game is played at a fast pace with a lot of stats.
Hudson played well after his week off. He has been very useful this season, but the better fantasy teams initially signed him as a third ruckman, not a starter, which gave them a lot of flexibility with their roster over the season. Probably a bit early to plan for next year's fantasy season, but with Biglands available in 2008 it would mean Hudson is likely to have a reduced role for the Crows.
It was nearly going to be Hall who was getting traded this week, but Hall improved a lot last round so he stays for the last two weeks of the fantasy season.
Hawthorn's X-Man, Ellis, had one of his better games of the year for stats but it didn't help the fantasy team because he was only an emergency, if Fletcher was hurt a few minutes before the game started instead of a few minutes after it started it would have helped this team as Ellis would have contributed fantasy points. With Campbell and Ackland also playing for their AFL teams it does provide backup at a few positions for this fantasy team, but not in the middle where it is needed more.
