Polak had a big game, even though he was played as a forward. Birchall was another good performer. Koschitzke paid dividends for all those who played him and at his fantasy price he will be signed by a lot of teams now. Raines was solid but should do better. It isn't time to put Dempster in the dumpster as there were a lot of positives from his game. He didn't have a lot of stats but he was certainly around the action a lot, now he just has to get into the action, his long goal was a good play too. His playing time was well up on his previous games, Dempster also had more fantasy points than Goodes, although that won't happen again this season. Mundy was quiet but it was only 1 game.
Salopek and Hasleby were safe choices, as they did a lot more than their fantasy prices suggested. Jordan Lewis joined them with bringing in a lot of fantasy points, he was much better than his teammates Mitchell and Hodge. But Hawthorn should play better now and with that should come increased production from their two most important midfielders. Murphy was stopped in the first half but was a star in the second half of his game.
Hudson wasn't bad for his first game in a long time, he will be better with every game. Worsfold took out Dean Cox from his lineup, which didn't help this fantasy team. Griffin has been named as an emergency now.
Jones and G Ablett were the best forwards. Much more is expected from the other forward players this week. Chad Cornes has been named captain for this round.
