Carlton are going to give Ratten two years to get the Blues winning again. They had a big search to find a new coach and hired the guy who was already there.
Carlton have been playing a lot better since the coaching change, although no radical changes have been implemented by Ratten yet. Ackland has seen more time in the ruck, while Jamison has been promoted and put right in at full back.
It would seem that Ratten is going to keep Fevola around, so it doesn't look like Ratten will be going through the club with a broom.
