Pagan Gone, Fevola and Walker Injured
He was the highest-paid coach they ever had, and maybe their worst-performing too. The Pagan era has ended at Carlton and a long rebuilding process will have to begin. For the next few weeks they won't be the Carlton Fevolas, as he is out injured while Andrew Walker is also going to miss at least one game.

AFL Fantasy Impact:
Season 2008 has already started there, not that season 2007 ever really got going, and the Blues should now be playing their younger players. Fantasy coaches will want to look at players who actually have a future as that is who the Blues will want to play, so Blackwell, Kennedy, Gibbs, Bower and other young players should produce a lot more stats.
Carlton will want to go in a new direction when it comes to the ruck, maybe this means Ackland plays a lot more or they could look to the VFL. McLaren or Jacobs are the new coach's other options.
Grigg, Benjamin, Betts, Young and Austin are other players who could be in the Carlton side this week and could make an impact in fantasy leagues. Austin can play at either end of the ground, and if Fevola is out and Waite is used in the back line, then Austin might kick some goals. Benjamin is another player that the Blues might want to debut, he could get a few possessions as an outside midfielder.
There should be more news about Walker's injury later in the week, but if he is out for only a match then a spot on the fantasy bench might be the best idea. Fevola probably has to be traded, and Waite might be a good player to trade him for, or maybe Mr Kennedy gets a chance now in the goal square and he might kick a few goals. Tredrea is very close to Fevola's fantasy price, Burton is back to his bouncing best and at a bargain price, David Hale is contributing for the Kangaroos while Gehrig is just a bit more expensive than Fevola and he might kick a few goals this round.
