Some Of The Good, Bad And Otherwise
Sav Rocca has pretty much done everything right. He was tremendous in the first half, booting two punts - one one play -- inside the 10-yard line (one was called back due to a penalty), he got off a field-position-changing 62-yard punt and he had another inside the 20-yard line that the coverage teams failed to jump on before it bounced into the end zone. Rocca's final punt was ugly, but it still went 41 yards and was downed without a return. Rocca's final punt was low, but the Steelers called for a fair catch and the net result was a 41-yard punt.

Teams are looking for every advantage they can get, so if their punter is averaging a few more yards than the punter on the other team it does affect the game. Sav Rocca has the ability to kick the ball a long way, and if he can do it consistently then he will probably have a job with the Eagles, or another NFL team, very soon.
