Eagles Midfielder Daniel Kerr Out 2 Weeks
The Eagles will be without Kerr for two weeks as he has accepted the penalty that was offered. It was a similar collision to the ones that resulted in much longer suspensions to Stokes and Michael Johnson, so Kerr probably made the right choice and didn’t contest the charge which would have meant missing an extra week.

The best time to have traded Kerr would have been after round 5, after a big start to the year he then had two very bad weeks. Things did pick up against the Demons though. Two weeks isn’t that long, if you have N Lappin or someone like that on your bench. But for most teams a trade will be the best move. Fletcher or Priddis might play a bigger role over the next two rounds for the Eagles. Stanton, of Essendon, might be a good player to acquire for Kerr. D Harris, Hodge, Cooney or one of the Harvey stars are just some of the other options.
