Demons' Daniher Decade Done
Not a big surprise with Daniher announcing he won't be at Melbourne when his contract runs out, as it was very unlikely that he would have been offered a new contract anyway. Daniher was there long enough to have two 5-year plans, his best result was taking Melbourne to the 2000 AFL Grand Final.
The Demons can start planning for 2008 now, which could mean Gasparizing an old player or two, talking discreetly to agents of players in the last year of their contracts to make sure they are available for the preseason draft, aiming at pick 1 in the draft and of course finding a new coach.
