Chris Grant To Miss Half The Season
The Bulldogs have Luke Darcy to provide a forward target, and Brian Harris will be back for round 3, and they will have to take on more responsibility as the Bulldogs won't have Chris Grant for the next 10 or so weeks. Grant had surgery and has been ruled out for the first half of the season.
There could also be a rookie elevated as Grant will miss a lot of games, possibly former Brisbane Lion Marty Pask is an option if the Bulldogs are looking for size.

AFL Fantasy Impact:
Wight should play more games with Grant out. He provides a big defensive presence with his height, he won't ever get a lot of fantasy points but at his low fantasy price he might be worth playing. If you have Grant on your team you will definitely want to use a trade this week and bring in another player. There are plenty of forward and back options to put in for Grant. McPharlin, Chick, Croad and Brennan are all options for either fantasy AFL position. Neither McDougall or Darcy had a big round 1 but there were promising signs, now that Grant is out for an extended time it will make McDougall and Darcy better fantasy players.

Grant has a rest for a couple of months, is then gradually brought back and is fresh for September, it could actually be beneficial to the Bulldogs if Grant only plays half a season.
