Cheap AFL Fantasy Forwards

Here are some forward options to look at with bargain prices. If you don’t have a spot to start Alwyn Davey, Matthew Campbell, Tom Hawkins or Aaron Edwards you can replace them on the bench with one of these much cheaper players. You then have extra money to spend on another position on your team.

Justin Westhoff: If you want to sign him then do it now, his price is just about to go up.

Robert Gray: Westhoff will only be useful if he keeps kicking goals, while Gray has a more varied game so he can also get fantasy points around the ground. Another player who will now have a price increase after this round of games.

Malcolm Lynch: The Bulldogs are playing him so fantasy coaches may want to sign him, they can wait a game or two to see how he goes as his fantasy price will stay low for a couple of games.

Fergus Watts: Might be a good signing, while he is young and the Saints need to play him he also has a few years of AFL experience so he should deliver if given a chance.

Jack Riewoldt: His team has yet to win and he has only played a couple of minutes, so he should have a much better second half of the season.

Nick Gill: The Crows' forward line is not firing so they could turn to Gill now that he has recovered from injury.

Ben Reid: The Magpies have shown they will play their youngest players, Reid was their highest draft choice so he might play soon.

Nathan J Brown: If he does play it might be in the back line, if Clement and O'Brien are still out of the lineup there might be plenty of minutes available for him.

Leroy Jetta: He was big news in the early games, he is still at a low price.

Ben Ross: It could take an injury or two to open a spot for Ross.

Djaran Whyman: He is another Kangaroos who is close to a game.

Justin Sweeney: With the Saints struggling they will be forced to play most of their list.

Adam Cockshell: If Westhoff keeps kicking goals then the Power won't need to play any of their other young talls.

Clayton Collard: He should get a few more games this year, but the Dockers will also be getting Farmer back soon so Collard may not have a big role.

Colin Garland: Melbourne gave him a look when their injuries were at their worst, he didn't keep his spot and might be more of a long-term project for them.

Michael Newton: The Demons have had "Juice" before, but they don't seem to be in a hurry to play this Newton.
