Bartel and Rooke Injury News
Geelong struggled during the second half of their game with Sydney after they lost Jimmy Bartel, they did hang on for the win but they would not want to face the Bombers next week without him. According to the Cats, Bartel probably will play but Rooke is back on their injured list again and could miss several weeks.

Bartel isn’t on as many fantasy teams as would be expected, but he is on a lot of the teams that are high in the fantasy league standings this season. If he misses one game it will be a setback and if he is out for a longer time it would hurt a lot of the better fantasy coaches, although because Bartel has such a huge fantasy price they can afford to replace him with the best available fantasy player if they do need to trade him. Geelong say he should be there for their next game so until other news comes out Bartel should remain in fantasy teams, and a midfielder can be set as an emergency too.
Rooke had a delayed start to the season but when he played he produced a lot more fantasy points than expected. He isn’t on many teams and will have to be traded off those that do have him. Tenace was having a solid season and he would be expected to return to the Geelong side in place of Rooke. Other Cats like Kelly, Selwood and Enright might do a bit more with Rooke out of the lineup.
