AFL Trivia Tuesday: February 27 2007
Ottens played one of his better games for Geelong on the weekend against his former team. The trivia question for today is what was the cost for Geelong, which players and/or draft picks were traded, to acquire Brad Ottens from Richmond?

The trade cost for Geelong was their first rounder, number 16, and Brent Moloney.
Moloney went to Melbourne and the Tigers also received their first round pick, number 12.
So far it has been an even trade, and it will be a few years more before a winner out of this deal is known. Geelong got the big forward they have needed for a long time, although Ottens hasn't always delivered for them. Melbourne received a very good midfielder, who has missed time with injuries but who also has a long career ahead of him. The Tigers added big Pattison who could be a useful player this season as they need height, and Meyer could develop into a solid player too.
