AFL Team Changes For Sunday Games
Essendon v Fremantle
Bombers:
In: Jason Laycock
Out: Kepler Bradley
Dockers:
In: Matthew Carr, Luke Webster
Out: Steven Dodd, Ryan Murphy
The Bombers wanted to get Hille some help, and Laycock is another big body to play against Sandilands. Carr returns from suspension while Dodd is out a game after deciding to put his foot down. Webster gives them a different type of forward to Murphy.
Fantasy points news: With Bradley sitting, it could help Ryder and Lovett-Murray with their fantasy points. Hille may have less playing time with Laycock in, so he might miss out on a few fantasy stats. If you had Murphy in your fantasy side then your emergency will play for him, Webster probably won’t play enough to be considered for fantasy teams next week.
Port Adelaide v Kangaroos
Power:
In: Peter Burgoyne, Josh Mahoney
Out: Shannon Motlop, Darryl Wakelin
Kangaroos:
In: Aaron Edwards
Out: Matt Campbell
Motlop kept the Power in the contest last week, P Burgoyne is a more than adequate replacement. Mahoney will also add to their attack. Wakelin could be out a while after loosing his spot. Edwards, and his 100 goal reputation, is a needed inclusion as they need more marks in the forward 50 and he will be a leading forward to compliment big Hale.
Fantasy points news: P Burgoyne will have enough fantasy points to justify starting him for fantasy teams. Mahoney might be a different story, Rodan and other players will now share his role. Edwards looked like a big fantasy signing until he was left out of their round 1 team. He will be worth his minimum cost and with a few goals could be worth a lot more.
Western Bulldogs v Adelaide
Bulldogs:
In: Matthew Robbins
Out: Brett Montgomery
Crows:
No change, yet.
Montgomery is injured and the Bulldogs add another quick forward beside Johnson with Robbins in the team. The Crows could be without Goodwin or Burton but they are both in the team at the moment.
Fantasy points news: The Bulldogs are again playing Minson in the ruck, with Darcy as his backup, so with Street out that will help the fantasy points for those two players. Robbins doesn’t get many fantasy points, with Johnson playing so well and with the forward line having more options with Akermanis and others added it might make Robbins a player to avoid for fantasy teams. The Crows have Bode and Porplyzia named as emergencies, they can both bring in fantasy points but they first have to get into the team.
