If Dean Cox is giving them first use of the ball they wouldn't look slow.

Someone like Priddis, when compared to the departed Judd, would certainly seem slow but Priddis can get the ball 30 times a game so he more than compensates for not being the fastest player on the field.

almost got it right when Sam butler is fully fit he's one of our best and should be in the starting lineup and armstong i hope he has a big preseason and gets back on the team, Daniel Kerr he will be the brownlow medallist if he doesnt get suspended, get ya act together kerr. Did u know every odd numbered year is unlucky for west coast because we only win premierships on even years ha so were gonna have a lucky year next year i hope

"Almost" is close enough for picking the team at this part of the year. Butler, and both of the other two emergencies, deserve a spot in the starting 22 players. It might depend on how good Masten and Ebert are, maybe the Eagles will bring them along slowly with a few WAFL games before they play AFL.

Getting to a Grand Final should not be considered unlucky, so 1991 and 2005 were solid years too. Malthouse won two cups, with a year between the wins, so on that formula Worsfold will win in 2008.

Very good. But maybe Butler could be placed in the back line, and could be switched with Hurn, that way Hurn could kick some long goals.

thats about right but id swap selwood and waters over (selwood more of a midfielder), and have mcnamara in ahead of masten - hes consistently proven himself at wafl level where as masten has only played a few games. id also have staker in but i duno who the unlucky 1 to miss out would be.
possibly also have mitch brown at CHB and make hunter a 3rd tall so he can run of his man and kick goals

That makes sense, Selwood often has a tagging role in the midfield.

and have mcnamara in ahead of masten - hes consistently proven himself at wafl level where as masten has only played a few games.
McNamara could have a big year, and he does have more experience than their recent picks Masten and Ebert.

Brown does deserve a spot, and maybe the Eagles go with a bigger lineup in 2008 and he becomes a regular player. Thank you for your comments.
