AFL Fantasy Player Notes – Tippett Tipped For Adelaide Ruck
The ruck position at Adelaide may be deeper than expected, as it is being suggested that Kurt Tippett is an option with Biglands injured.
From The Advertiser: Tippett ready to ruck and roll
AFL Fantasy Impact:
At this time in his career, Tippett seems better suited to playing as a forward, with only some occasional time in the ruck. But he does have a few advantages over the other ruck candidates. He is a better marking player than Maric and is a lot stronger than Griffin. Those two players do have more experience than Tippett, and that may give them the advantage when Adelaide pick their round 1 team.

"The one that's in the shadow a bit and nobody has seen a lot of is Kurt Tippett," Redden, who has been succeeded by Matthew Clarke, said.
"I've got a lot of time for Kurt. He is a real natural ruckman and I had discussions with Craigy about him because he (Neil Craig) would like to see him develop as a forward.

It would seem the top 8 will be a difficult task for them this season. A wooden spoon might be possible, due to their retirements, injuries, trades and drafting.
