AFL Fantasy Player Notes - Richmond Won't Play Cotchin In the Preseason
The Tigers only have one injury at the moment, Trent Cotchin won't be available to play in the preseason games for Richmond.
From the Richmond site: Cotchin won't be risked in NAB Cup
AFL Fantasy Impact:
There are 22 rounds in the season, so it won't hurt fantasy AFL teams if Trent Cotchin doesn't make it into Richmond's round 1 team. Looking at Joel Selwood's fantasy season in 2007, it took a few rounds for him to cement a regular spot with the Cats and to start producing consistent fantasy points. Selwood was playing for a premiership contender then, Cotchin was the first round choice of the team that finished last in 2007 so Cotchin should be in the Richmond side as soon as his ankle is right. Cotchin could have a similar price rise and points totals to Selwood, although they are different types of players.

RICHMOND’S first pick in the 2007 NAB AFL National Draft, Trent Cotchin, will not feature during the club’s NAB Cup campaign.
The 17-year-old, who underwent ankle surgery before the draft, has suffered achilles soreness and assistant coach David King says the club won’t be risking him.
