AFL Fantasy Player Notes – Power Amplification From Westhoff, Boak, Krakouer and Gray
Port Adelaide had a bunch of first year players who played much better than expected in 2007. If the Power are to improve in 2008 it will be due to these players getting even better.

AFL Fantasy Impact:
Boak before J Selwood in the draft will be argued for a long time, but Port Adelaide are happy with who they got. Fantasy coaches will probably get a useful player for stats with either one of them.
The Hoff should continue to kick goals, and find his way onto numerous fantasy teams.
Playing time for Gray and Krakouer won’t be guaranteed, compared to Boak and J Westhoff. Maybe there will only be room for one of Gray or Krakouer in the Port Adelaide side, with Mahoney retiring it might mean Gray can take his role. Fantasy coaches might also want to consider Marlon Motlop, he could be as good in his first year as Gray and Krakouer were in 2007.

"We're looking forward to seeing (last year's debutants) Justin Westhoff, Travis Boak, Nathan Krakouer and Robbie Gray become more experienced, more poised and get a better result for us."
"If the Grand Final was replayed today, three or four spots in the line-up would be up in the air, but the rest would be playing," he said.

They are in trouble if they have a few injuries to their talls, but their depth for smaller players is very good. D Wakelin retired, so they don't have a lot of height at the back if injuries hit. Thank you for your comment.
