AFL Fantasy Player Notes – New Forward Structure For Bulldogs
Never underestimate the power of the Schwarz, that was significant in Spaceballs and the Bulldogs hope it will be good for footballs.
From the Herald Sun: Schwarz to help Bulldogs
AFL Fantasy Impact:
The only way that Minson or Wight will be useful on fantasy teams is if they become the centre half forward for the Bulldogs. Johnson will always be a fantasy star. Welsh should again kick around 50 goals.
Murphy might be at his best for fantasy AFL on a half back flank, but it seems he will be a forward. If he is played as one of the prime marking options it won’t be good for his health, going up against some of the bigger key defenders. If Murphy splits his time leading from half forward to the middle of the ground and also some minutes close to goal it will bring in the most fantasy points.
Tom Williams being mentioned among the possible forwards would be a change. He was drafted as a midfield prospect, and after all his injury problems he debuted as a key defender.
From the Herald Sun: Schwarz to help Bulldogs
Schwarz will work closely with key forwards, such as Will Minson, and the resting ruckmen, recruit Scott Welsh, Brad Johnson, the promising Tom Williams, Cameron Wight and Robert Murphy.
"I can relate to 'Murph' more than most. He had a reco, he's been near the top of his club and fallen over with injury and he knows what it's like to get back," Schwarz said.
