AFL Fantasy Player Notes – Lions To Try Henderson and Collier
Jonathan Brown is in prefect health and ready to dominate the AFL again, that is good news for the Brisbane coach. The article below also says that young Lions Henderson and Collier are a chance to play in the senior side, that could be good news for fantasy footy coaches.
From The Courier-Mail: Lion Jonathan Brown ready after trouble-free pre-season
AFL Fantasy Impact:
Henderson might have more fantasy stats potential as a defender, with Brown and Bradshaw up forward the best Henderson could do would be similar to Mills’ and Clark’s numbers last year. There is still a chance that Henderson does find a spot in the back half, and he might have some big fantasy games due to his marking and sharing the ball with Drummond and Adcock.
Collier can play most of the positions on the football field, which is a good thing for fantasy stats. He can be a big body in the midfield, can play on tall or short forwards in the Brisbane back line and has also shown some ability to kick goals too. Collier may have gone a round later in the draft than Henderson did, but his fantasy value this season could be as good or better than Henderson’s.

The club's top draft pick, Lachlan Henderson, is a tall marking forward from Brown's old junior side Geelong Falcons. He will play in attack tonight and may get a run up forward against the Bombers.
Although Henderson has played the majority of his football in attack, defence is the one area with positions up for grabs at the Lions and he may find himself in a battle with Collier for a position down back this year.
