AFL Fantasy Player Notes – Ebert, Nicoski And Other Eagles Battling For Vacant Positions
The Eagles have a lot of depth to call on, and they will need it as several big names departed this offseason. Ebert and other players acquired via the recent draft will be vying for spots with players like Nicoski and others who were not regulars in 2007.

AFL Fantasy Impact:
There should be a few fantasy bargains provided by the Eagles. Nicoski and Sam Butler might be two to look at, although Ebert could be a surprise. Chris Masten, drafted with a pick from the Judd deal, seems to be copying Chris Masters as he has been suspended, but later in the year Masten should be helping fantasy teams.
Another part of the Judd trade was Mr Kennedy, the Eagles seemed to insist that he was included in the deal so maybe they have a role in mind for him. As the third big forward, supporting Hansen and Lynch, Josh Kennedy might be used as a marking option along the spacious wings of Subiaco and around half forward, that could provide a solid amount of fantasy stats.

Carlton recruit Josh Kennedy, who West Coast received as part of the Judd trade, and draft picks Chris Masten, Brad Ebert, Tony Notte, Scott Selwood and Patrick McGinnity will get their first chance to impress the coaching staff after joining the club at the end of 2007.
Mark Nicoski, Chad Fletcher and Steven Armstrong will want to remind selectors of their importance to the team after struggling through 2007.
