AFL Fantasy News: Thomas and Pendlebury Bury the Swans
The Swans couldn't match the energy levels of the Magpies and they were not able to expose the Magpies' lack of height and experience in the back line. Collingwood fans have a dilemma, as they try to figure out if Dale Thomas or Scott Pendlebury is the better player, and that is not a bad problem to have. Thomas did his work much closer to goal, and provided the Magpies with an early lead that the Swans couldn’t catch. Pendlebury was unstoppable all over the ground, he contributed in every stat category except for frees against and behinds, his tackles led his team.

Collingwood
Thomas: 4 goals, 9 kicks and 5 tackles is a big fantasy game for a small forward.
Pendlebury: His price is a lot higher than it was in round 1, he is worth it with 17 disposals, 7 tackles and a goal.
Clarke: 20 disposals, not bad for someone in his first game, he has the lowest price in fantasy leagues.
Cloke: 19 possessions and 6 marks, but only one of his five scoring shots went through for a goal.
Stanley: Might struggle to keep his spot, he had 8 possessions, so fantasy coaches might want to look elsewhere.
Sydney
Goodes: Getting better, he had 23 possessions and 6 marks.
Kirk: 24 possessions, 6 marks and 10 tackles.
Schmidt: 17 possessions and 5 tackles, he has some potential and might cement a regular spot there.
J Bolton: 16 possessions, 3 tackles and 3 free kicks received, always useful for fantasy points.
Hall: 2 goals, 4 marks and 11 possessions, it might be time to look at alternatives in the fantasy forward line.
