Tiller: Might finish the season with a few goals next week, although he didn't get any here as he played only half the game.

The Cats will point out they played without three of their important midfielders, the Power will remind them that the game was at Kardinia Park. There were mind games before the match and this could have only been the rehearsal for something much bigger in the finals. G Ablett had the game won for Geelong before Cassisi kicked a goal in the last few seconds.
