AFL Fantasy News: Hird Injured As Cats Run Away With Another Win
It was a close contest for three quarters. Essendon were finished off in the last term by Chapman, Stokes and a lot of injuries. Davey could be out for a long time, Hird for a couple of weeks at least, Hislop was hurt in his first game and there are some other worries for Essendon too.

Bartel: A good game for most other players, but down on his usual averages with 20 possessions.
Hawkins: 9 kicks, 5 marks and a goal, not enough stats to be starting fantasy teams.
Ling: Had 3 goals as a defensive forward, also had 25 possessions and 11 marks.
Enright: Doing a lot more now, he kicked 2 goals and had 24 possessions and 8 marks.
Selwood: 10 kicks, 16 handballs, 6 marks, 8 tackles and 3 free kicks received.
Essendon
Ramanauskas: Probably not ready for fantasy teams to use, he had 12 possessions.
Watson: He does do some odd things on the field but he always gets the ball, he had 28 disposals and 2 goals.
Hislop: A big game but could have a bad injury. His stats were 14 possessions, 4 marks, 5 tackles and a goal.
Welsh: Played deep in the forward line early and kicked 2 goals, also had 21 possessions and 9 marks.
Peverill: 19 handballs, 10 kicks, 10 marks and 3 tackles.
