This game had a lot more scoring, some of the Kangaroos' goals came from free kicks as the Blues were often undersized in the back line. Waite started forward, O'hAilpin was again in the ruck, this left Lappin and Houlihan exposed against the stronger forwards. Corey Jones had 3 or 4 opponents in the first quarter, while Lindsay Thomas has now adjusted his sights and is kicking them between the big posts, Brown and Petrie provided the big targets while Edwards again marked strongly.
