AFL Fantasy News: Essendon Just Scrape By, Judd Might Have Too
Carlton kept it close for most of the game, but the Crows were too strong. Multiple goals from Jericho, Porplyzia and Reilly provided an unexpected boost to their score. Griffin was injured early, so another Adelaide ruckman could be added to the injured list.

Waite: Often inconsistent, especially as a forward, but he kicked 4 goals in this game.
Walker: 21 possessions provided plenty of fantasy points, he did lose some with 4 free kicks against.
Gibbs: His kicks usually hit their target, he had 15 possessions.
Bentick: They do sit him on the bench too much, but he still gets fantasy points. He had 9 kicks and 11 tackles.
Hawthorn had another win at their island fortress. They had the wind and an early lead but the Eagles soon caught them and it was anyone's game at half time. Goals from Hodge setup the win. The big news is the Judd - Brown incident, but if Ben Holland didn't get in trouble a few weeks ago then Judd should not miss any games.

Sewell: He still gets the ball even when assigned a big defensive task, he had 22 possessions and 5 tackles.
West Coast
Staker: He is having a big year, Staker had 22 possessions, 6 marks and 2 free kicks for in this game.
Priddis: It would have been cheaper to sign him at the start of the year, he had a big game with 31 possessions.
Fletcher: With Kerr out he increased his output, 36 possessions and 7 marks.
Lynch: Was solid for fantasy points despite playing up the field a lot, he had 16 kicks.
Cox: Cox and Seaby were both good, Cox had 16 possessions.
The Lions only got a couple of goals from Brown, Mitchell Clark did help with 5 goals but it was not enough as Collingwood had 11 players contribute goals.

Clark: He isn't cheap in fantasy games, but if he has another big game next week he will be a good signing.
Selwood: He had 16 possessions, it looks like he will be a good performer for fantasy points this season.
Lappin: Still a bargain, he had 27 disposals and 5 tackles.
Brown: Plenty of fantasy points despite only 2 goals, he had 16 possessions and 7 marks.
Black: Another huge game, 37 possessions.
The Tigers lost this game and they are not sure how that happened. An umpiring decision, a lot more scoring shots by Essendon, the bad luck that occurs when Kingsley is played, a lot of things provided an exciting conclusion that will be talked about all week.
