AFL Fantasy News: Buckley Returns
The Blues went back to playing the worst football they could. Something they will want to take into next round. The Kangaroos were too big and too good in every area.

Harvey: 28 possessions and a goal, a star for fantasy points and a favourite for the Brownlow.
Edwards: 7 marks and 4 goals, he would have helped a few fantasy teams who had him on their bench and needed to play him this week.
Petrie: Always going to be too big for Carlton, he had 12 marks and kicked 4 goals.
Archer: 9 possessions and 3 tackles for his milestone game.
Sansbury: 21 possessions and 3 goals, a big game compared to what he usually does.
Carlton
Bentick: Hit double-figures for possessions in 3 of the 4 quarters, a fantasy star with totals of 36 possessions, 9 marks and 4 tackles.
Whitnall: His AFL coach doesn't seem impressed with him but fantasy coaches should be happy, he had 19 kicks, 11 marks and received 5 free kicks.
Jackson: 16 possessions, 5 marks, 4 tackles and 2 goals, an unexpected fantasy contributor.
Kennedy: A late inclusion, he took 7 marks and could be a fantasy star next year, and might be good to play next week too.
Walker: 30 possessions, although he did give away 4 free kicks.
The Demons played the first quarter, but hardly did anything after that. They might be getting ready for their round 22 game. The Dockers destroyed them in the second quarter, and kept the pedal down in the second half as they produced a big win to celebrate the careers of Parker and Cook.

Mundy: 24 possessions, 10 marks and 6 tackles were a big jump from his usual fantasy points.
McPharlin: Is able to get fantasy points as a defender but went forward here for better results, 5 goals and 8 marks.
Foster: 16 possessions and 4 tackles, also had 2 frees for and didn't give any away.
Solomon: 21 possessions, once again Solomon produces for fantasy teams.
Schammer: 20 possessions although he didn't have a lot of playing time, he should be a fantasy star next season.
Melbourne
Green: 25 possessions and 2 goals, plenty of fantasy points.
Brown: 22 possessions, 6 marks and 3 tackles.
Pickett: 9 tackles, and 11 possessions, a productive fantasy game.
Bruce: Used a bit too much as a defender, he still had 19 possessions and 5 tackles.
Robertson: 3 goals and 8 marks, could kick a bunch of goals next week too.
The Magpies got the early lead and although the Swans fought back a few times they never caught up. Buckley played an important part in the win, especially early in the game by setting up Collingwood's opening goal.

Buckley: 10 kicks, 4 handballs and 4 marks, didn't do enough in regards to his high fantasy price.
Rusling: A player for next year, as well as next week if he isn't injured, he kicked 4 goals here.
Clarke: Back in the action, only 9 possessions but he did receive a few more fantasy points due to 4 frees for.
Richards: One of his better games, 14 kicks and 7 marks,
Wakelin: 12 kicks and 10 marks, one of the surprises of the AFL fantasy season.
Sydney
Goodes: 33, possessions, 11 marks and 7 tackles, one of the best players this round.
Hall: 8 marks and 4 goals, back in form after plenty of below average games.
Jolly: 12 possessions, 8 marks and a goal, Everitt is often the better Sydney ruckman but in this game it was Jolly who provided a lot more fantasy points.
C Bolton: 16 possessions, 2 frees for and 3 tackles.
Barlow: Not able to replicate his numbers from last round, he only had 4 kicks here.
The Crows made sure that Brown wasn't going to beat them, and they always had multiple defenders around him. No other Lions stepped up so Brisbane are out of the finals race while the Crows only need to win next week to sneak into the finals and possibly cause a lot of problems for teams that don't have the experience that the Crows do in big games.

Stevens: A big game in the back line, Stevens had 10 kicks, 9 handballs and 7 marks.
Thompson: One of the best and most consistent fantasy midfielders, 17 kicks and a goal.
Shirley: 30 possessions and 5 tackles, one of the players who did more as Knights missed the game.
Ricciuto: 11 possessions and 3 frees for, not needed on fantasy teams but provides a big boost to the Crows.
Johncock: 14, kicks, 14 handballs and 10 marks.

Corrie: 23 possessions, 7 marks, 4 tackles and 3 frees for, a big fantasy game.
Begley: He provided lots of run, with Drummond out, Begley had 23 possessions.
Brown: 7 kicks, 6 marks and a goal, it wasn't an easy game for Brown.
Leuenberger: 10 possessions and 4 marks, he didn't have a big game as the new number 1 ruckman there.
Merrett: 10 kicks, 6 marks and 2 tackles, he was in the action a bit more than most of his games.
