Essendon
Laycock: If Hille is out then Laycock is a good fantasy ruckman, he had 20 possessions.
Monfries: 18 kicks and 2 goals, more production than he normally has for fantasy points.
Lloyd: 12 kicks, 11 marks and 6 goals, fantasy points would have been even higher but he gave away 4 frees.
Lovett: 21 possessions, 7 marks and a goal, a big improvement on his normal numbers.
Lovett-Murray: Not a dominant fantasy player at the moment, but 20 possessions was a useful game and he should finish the regular season with a couple of very good performances.
Carlton
Bentick: Not expected to play, he was a late inclusion and had 31 possessions.
Scotland: Back to his very good fantasy numbers, 31 possessions and 9 marks.
Betts: Got a lot of marks, 10, and possessions, 18, and was a lot more than a forward pocket in this game.
Jamison: Is providing some good fantasy points at a low price, he had 10 possessions, 5 tackles and received 3 frees.
Whitnall: 10 possessions and a goal, he could have a couple of big games with Fevola out.
Every now and then Gehrig takes over a game and there is nothing that can stop him. The Dockers were destroyed by Gehrig and they can now go into total 2008 mode. The Saints are still a finals chance.

Gehrig: A monster game, it is likely that the fantasy coaches who win this round will have Gehrig in their team, he had 12 kicks, 8 marks and 8 goals.
Fiora: Was great early in the season and is close to that form again, he had 12 kicks and 11 marks.
R clarke: He showed he should keep his spot in their side with 9 marks and 9 kicks.
Blake: 15 possessions and 4 tackles were useful numbers, a big bonus for fantasy points was the 5 frees for.
Hayes: 17 kicks, 9 handballs, 6 marks and 7 tackles.
Fremantle
Solomon: 23 possessions and 7 tackles, his fantasy season has probably been better than Tarrant's.
Mundy: Getting more playing time with the new coach, he had 16 possessions, 6 marks and kicked a goal.
J Carr: 12 kicks, 13 handballs, 4 frees for, 9 marks, 7 tackles and 2 goals, he can have some big games for fantasy points.
Bell: 2 goals, 4 frees for and 23 possessions, another good game from Bell.
Thornton: He seems to get himself into trouble with his handball, which did result on him getting the ball handballed back to him on several occasions, this resulted in 17 total handballs for the match.
That was unexpected, and the draw certainly changes things for the top 8. Sydney's big percentage isn't very useful now, while the Lions now have two draws which equals one win. The Lions were probably lucky to get half a win here as the Swans had a lot more scoring shots. Brown's kick at the end of the game was the highlight of the round, he took on the responsibility and kicked the long goal to tie it up.

The result was not a surprise but Richmond staying close for most of the game must be a worry to West Coast. The Tigers were just too short in the back line as the Eagles had plenty of marking options.
