AFL Fantasy News: Bowdens Not AFL Fantasy Stars Now
Richmond had another game under control, and once again grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory. There was good news as Simmonds played his first game of the season, Tambling was a star in the first half and Schulz provided an aerial target to help Richardson. Collingwood had to deal with the late withdrawal of Clement but they won the game when Rocca destroyed everyone in the second half, and their three new players also helped a bit.

Collingwood
Medhurst: Only had 5 kicks, not the best for fantasy points but as 4 went for goals it was another solid game.
Rocca: 2 possessions in the first half and 12 in the second. Finished with 3 goals and 9 marks.
Toovey: The best of the first-gamers, kicked 3 goals.
Lockyer: 21 kicks as he spent the game running around in space, a huge fantasy points game.
Thomas: Started on the bench, was quickly into the game and had 19 kicks and 7 marks.
Pendlebury: Added a couple of goals to his 16 disposals.
Richmond
Tambling: His best game ever, with 15 kicks, 9 marks and 9 tackles it showed he can help fantasy teams.
Johnson: 25 disposals and a goal.
Schulz: Probably will be a solid player for fantasy teams, had 9 marks and 3 goals.
Simmonds: A good performance, for fantasy points, in his first game back. Could be signed now and is one of the better fantasy ruckmen.
J Bowden: Played at full back for a lot of the game, Bowden's 2007 fantasy numbers are around two thirds of his average last year. Maybe the Tigers have realized that they won’t win with Bowden out of the action, so his fantasy points could be better next week.
P Bowden: He was nearly played, if Simmonds couldn't go, but now he is playing at Coburg. If he wasn't traded yesterday, he probably will need to be moved off fantasy teams next week.
