AFL Fantasy News: Akermanis and Everitt Have Big Wins
The first quarter belonged to Lance Franklin, it was a surprise as the second quarter was dominated by Leo Barry, the umpire's might have had the biggest impact in the third quarter and in the fourth quarter it was Brett Kirk who provided a couple of inspirational plays to just get the Swans the win. One highlight was the clash early in the game between Crawford and Everitt, the ball had gone out of play and Crawford challenged Everitt in a contest of strength, surprisingly the little guy tumbled the big fellow over. Everitt didn't care as he received one of his free kicks for it. Kennelly may not be as hurt as was first thought, but he is expected to miss several matches, he was injured in the opening minutes.

The injuries to Griffen and Cross could be costly, depending on how long they will miss. McMahon might be able to fill Griffen's role but Cross is harder to replace.
