Heath Shaw and Lindsay Gilbee get a lot of the ball, they are top defenders in every type of AFL fantasy game. Gram should continue to run in space and get a lot of the ball, although maybe Goddard's return could change Gram's role. Johnson didn't really get to his best last season, as he started late due to a suspension, so he might improve more this time. Michael Johnson could one day be a top 5 fantasy defender, combining size, running ability and solid foot and hand skills.
Kennelly might be a bit cheaper than he should be. Ellis has a lot of ability and with more playing time and responsibility his stats should increase. Joel Smith's departure should mean Ellis gets all the minutes on the ground that he deserves. Pratt is usually a solid player for stats who doesn't cost too much.

Professor X is a smart and skilled player so as long as he is on the field for most of the match this season he should be increasing his stats. Difficult to see him getting time close to goals, with Williams back and with who Hawthorn drafted. Ellis could be a running defender who deos get into the middle a bit.
