100 Games For Hawthorn’s Luke Hodge
Luke Hodge will play his 100th game when Hawthorn face Carlton. But unlike most players, no finals matches have been part of his first 100 games. Looking at Hawthorn’s ladder position at the halfway point, that could change this year. If Hodge goes forward during the match on Friday he could be playing against Bret Thornton, those two players would have a combined total of around 202 games without playing in a final.

According to the AFL’s profile of Hodge, he has only played 66 matches. Hopefully that information is wrong and outdated or this post won’t make a lot of sense.
Hodge will have a banner to run through, but when Carlton acknowledge their 100-gamer he is unlikely to be breaking through the paper. Coach Pagan coaches his 100th game for Carlton.
